As President of the Board of Directors for the Pennsylvania Behavioral Health and Aging Coalition, it is my distinct pleasure to make you aware that Rebecca May-Cole has been appointed as the new Executive Director for the Coalition. Rebecca’s professional background includes budget appropriations for the PA legislature, policy development for the PA Department of Health and public policy with the PA Community Providers Association. As a result of her experience, she is extraordinarily knowledgeable about fiscal management, public policy advocacy and behavioral health issues.
In fact, Rebecca was a member of the original work group that established the Coalition for the State of Pennsylvania over 10 years ago. Rebecca holds a BA in Psychology and a Master’s degree in Public Administration. By virtue of her education, experience and skills, she is uniquely qualified to lead the Coalition into the next decade, as we continue to fulfill the mission to advocate expansion, improvement, and development of affordable, appropriate, and accessible behavioral health prevention and treatment services for older Pennsylvanians
Sincerely,
Kelly O’Shea Carney, Ph.D., CMC
President, Board of Directors
