Health Information Technology - Listening Tour
OMHSAS Advisory Members and Stakeholders,
The Pennsylvania Department of Public Welfare has scheduled a public meeting in Harrisburg to seek input on the development of the State Medicaid Health Information Technology Plan. We anticipate that this meeting will be the first of several to be held across the Commonwealth. Details of the meeting are as follow:

PA DOH ANNOUNCES 60 CLINICS FOR H1N1 VACCINE
The Pennsylvania Department of Health (DOH) issued the attached press release on November 24, 2009, regarding the 60 DOH-sponsored clinics that will be open December 1-3 to administer the H1N1 vaccines free of charge to individuals in the priority groups. The sites will be open from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on these days to provide the H1N1 vaccine. Individuals in the recommended priority groups must pre-register for an appointment day, time, and location. They can pre-register by calling 1-877-PA-HEALTH or visiting www.h1n1inpa.com. We have also attached a list of the locations for the clinics.

Mental Health Block Grant Implementation Report for FY 2008-2009
This report is based on the OMHSAS’ Block Grant Plan approved by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) in October 2008 (the approved Plan is available.
