The Pennsylvania Department of Public Welfare has received a "Comprehensive Medicaid Infrastructure Grant" (MIG) from the Center for Medicare/Medicaid Services (CMS) to address employment for persons with disabilities. Developing a comprehensive strategic plan that sets the course for increased employment opportunities is a critical requirement of the MIG.

Philhaven - Promoting Hope, Healing, and Wholeness
Philhaven is a non-profit behavioral healthcare organization offering a wide range of holistic services for children, adolescents, adults and older adults in south central Pennsylvania.
Currently Philhaven is seeking a Half-time Certified Peer Specialist (CPS) to work in the Lebanon County area. This person will contribute in a peer support capacity to facilitate recovery and enhance wellness of our clients. The CPS will serve as a role model for recovery for both staff and peers, and will partner with peers in developing recovery tools and building support networks.
This work is directed by Philhaven’s Clubhouse in Harrisburg, so this person would meet weekly with staff in the Clubhouse then spend time connecting with clients in Lebanon County. Half-time hours are a minimum of 20 hours a week and come with half-time benefits, which include participation in our medical plan and vacation time, as well as other benefits.
This position REQUIRES the person to be a Certified Peer Support Specialist. If you are not currently certified, we cannot consider you for this position.
This position also requires the use of a personal vehicle for travel to clients’ homes and a valid PA driver’s license without any major violations within the last three years.
