The speakers invited are national renowned for their work in serving the behavioral health needs of persons who are Deaf, DeafBlind or Hard of hearing.

We Need Your Voice! STATEWIDE STRATEGIC PLANNING FOR EMPLOYMENT FOCUS GROUPS!

UPDATE: An earlier announcement outlined 8 focus groups on Strategic Planning for Employment. The facilitator for these meetings was seriously injured in a surfing accident over the weekend. Therefore, the following sessions have been postponed until further notice.

  • October 9- Williamsport
  • October 10- Wilkes Barre
  • October 14 Harrisburg

Are you interested in employment for ALL Pennsylvanians with disabilities?

The Pennsylvania Department of Public Welfare has received a “Comprehensive Medicaid Infrastructure Grant” (MIG) from the Center for Medicare / Medicaid Services (CMS) to address employment for persons with disabilities. Developing a comprehensive strategic plan that sets the course for increased employment opportunities is a critical requirement of the MIG.
