3. Come and Learn More About the State's Integrated Care Initiative:
The Department of Aging and Office of Long-Term Living are working with Medicare Advantage plans in the State to develop a newvoluntary option that would be offered through existing Medicare managed care plans. It is for people who are at least 60 years old and who receive both Medicare and Medicaid. It’s called the “Integrated Care Initiative”. Listening sessions have been scheduled to tell you more about this program and to hear your questions and concerns. We hope you or a family member can attend. This bulletin applies to County Mental Health/Mental Retardation Administrators, Residential Treatment Facilities (RTF’s), County Child and Adolescent Services System Program (CASSP) Coordinators, Behavioral Health Managed Care Organizations (BH-MCOs) and Family Advocacy Organizations.
