"Through the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act, ARRA, the federal government is providing both administrative funding for Pennsylvania and incentive payments to Medicaid providers for the implementation of health information technology and the exchange of electronic health records. This is a unique opportunity for Pennsylvania providers to obtain funding for implementing electronic information systems that will improve coordination of care for them and the consumers they serve."
